Monterosso

My original plan was to give you a proper introduction to Florence, to share my travels in chronological order, but after visiting Cinque Terre this weekend I couldn't help but share this trip immediately! I actually have more pictures and details from this weekend coming soon, but I thought I'd give you a little look at what I wore!

As you'd guess, there wasn't a cloud in the sky all day. The sun sparkled beautifully off the water and provided a beautiful day spent by the sea. I cannot find the words to adequately describe how stunning Monterosso was. But, I'll get more into that later :)

Before I left for Italy, I had my eye on this beautiful Anthropologie dress. It was a little out of my price range, but right before I left it went on sale. I'm convinced it was meant to be! I've actually already worn it a few times here, so I'm definitely getting good use out of it. If you're planning a trip to Italy anytime during the summer months, I definitely reccommend bringing a few light weight dresses you can wear time and time again.

I wasn't sure if I wanted to buy into the off the shoulder trend, fearful it would make me look too boxy, but I've actually found it fairly flattering! The effortless style was perfect for a weekend trip to the beach (not to mention so comfortable for traveling!).

Because the sun here is so harsh, I do recommend bringing some form of sun protection. I grabbed my straw hat, and a pair of sunglasses along with some sunscreen to keep from getting burnt, and I'm happy to say I still got some color even while protecting my skin.

I have so much more to share that'll be up this week, I can hardly wait for you to see it! For now you can follow my daily adventures over on Instagram in the meantime and I'll have a lot more content up soon!

Ciao!
